Our trip to Switzerland was a time to get away from everything and explore somewhere new, but of course we couldn’t help take a few ballet photos on the way!
We didn’t want to stress about taking these photos, nor make the trip about the photos. We wanted to enjoy everything, but at the same time take the opportunity to use some of the beautiful new locations we were visiting to get creative, capture some unique ballet photos and of course, have photography fun!
The first location was at a section of Switzerland called the Appenzell. The more local name of the area was called the Ebenalp. After enjoying an amazing dinner cliff side (photo below), we ran up to the top of the mountain for a few quick photos before heading down!
To add to the story, these photos (and the drone video at the end of this blog) were the cause of our 2hr hike down the mountain. We missed the last gondola… and so we walked… lol!
Next on our agenda was to explore the city of Zurich. We didn’t plan on taking photos here, but ended up snapping a few, just for fun.
On our way to Locarno, we stopped in Bellinzona to switch trains. Since we were already there, we took the time to walk up to the Castle of Montebello.
After spending a day exploring Locarno, we decided to spend a little more time on this little project. So, we set aside the evening to get creative with some Ballet photos.
Walking around Locarno (enjoying Ice Cream of course), we took advantage of all the little streets and places we could find! Such a beautiful little city!
Off to Luzern we went! Before checking into our hotel, we went to a place called the Aare Gorge. Roughly about an hour away. We took little trains up and through the mountains to this amazing tucked away place.
The next day we enjoyed Luzern, but it was totally packed with people (more like tourists).
We did find a cute alleyway though!
Brittany may have gotten a little wet!
It was such an amazing trip so I thought I would share this short drone video (again) with you as well. Another little personal project we decided to do along the way 😛
Such great memories!
