Last month I was able to capture one of the biggest days in Alexandra and Nicholas’s lives. Their Wedding day!
Alexandra was quite the planner, which definitely made my life easy. She knew exactly what she wanted, such as choosing locations that meant most to her. Knowing these photos would be forever important to her, she kept communication open with me to make sure the decisions she made for her day would accommodate my style to get the best results. She didn’t want to miss a thing!
After using different locations at the Sudbury Art Gallery for their first look, couples photos and bridal party moments, we went downtown for a nice break (and drink) at the Laughing Buddha. That made it great to capture a more journalistic style of photos, creating a different feel than the rest of their photos. Since the weather was questionable in the morning, we made sure to have a planned covered location downtown for their family photos. This also allowed us to take some quick couples shots at a different location.
It was now time to get married! A favourite place of theirs is the amazing Natura Banquet hall, better known as Verdicchio Ristorante. With one of the best venues in the city decorated by none other than her and her family, even her dad added his own personal touch. Making it extra special, he made the arbour they exchanged their vows under!
With the ceremony and reception held at the same location, it allowed the both of them to spend as much time with family and friends as soon as they had a chance to say their “I do’s”. They spent lots of time together sharing laughs, smiles, tears and love. A great start to their night… and lives together!
Here are some of my favourite shots from their day! I can’t thank you both enough for letting me be part of this special moment in your lives!
