Hailing from a Swiss background and born in Edmonton, Alberta, Michael grew up having lived a year each in France, Germany, and Switzerland before settling down in Sudbury, Ontario. Inspired by the musings of his travels and of his hometown in Northern Ontario, Michael worked in the mining industry, but discovered a passion embedded more deeply within himself than the nickel in the rock that has made the Greater City of Sudbury famous. Photography.
From the time he purchased his first camera in 2009 (the Canon t1i), there was no turning back. He began to learn photography in 2011, and in 2013 his hobby took a serious turn when he started shooting weddings. From there, his career as a photographer blossomed, and Michael saw himself growing into a well-rounded artist, bringing each photo to life with his precision and attention to detail. The rest, as they say, is history.
