I totally understand this is such a stressful time for everyone. Then to add in planning a wedding, which is never an easy task, just makes it even harder. I hope, however, you are trying to stay relaxed and positive. I will be here to work with you and make things as seamless as possible.
I’m sure that couples who have already booked and couples who are looking to get married have a ton of questions at this time. There is so much uncertainty at the moment, but I am staying positive and am here to answer any of your questions. I am also here to let you know that if your wedding is affected by this pandemic, we will do everything in our power to make sure your wedding still happens. I understand that you may want to postpone your date, but marrying the one you love should not be cancelled because of this unforeseen circumstance.

Are you still open?
Yes! “Physical distancing” is of utmost importance, so for that reason services are limited and based on following government restrictions and health and safety guidelines. I am currently working from home through email, phone calls and/or online video conferencing.
I haven’t booked a date yet for my wedding, but am planning for 2021. With this current situation, will dates book up faster than normal?
With the current COVID-19 pandemic, many weddings will be postponed to next year. It is recommended that you book and choose a date as soon as possible to lock yours in. Weddings being booked or rescheduled to winter dates (November 2020 – April 2021) and/or from Sunday – Friday anytime, will automatically receive a 10% discount.
What if I want to reschedule my wedding?
Things are changing every day, so for that reason we are keeping up with Public Health Ontario and WHO guidelines as they change. Weddings occuring 3 months from now may not be affected. We recommend that you reach out to us about options and available dates before making any final decisions. I am only rescheduling weddings within the next 3 months, but don’t be afraid to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time. We will work together at figuring out the best solution.
Do you have a cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Yes of course! I am following industry standards and waiving all postponing fees. If your wedding is within the next 3 months and needs to be rescheduled, you will need to rebook within the next 12 months from your original date. You will be able to choose any new date, based on availability. Like mentioned above, we are also offering weddings rescheduled to winter dates (November 2020 to April 2021) and/or Sunday-Friday (anytime) an automatic 10% discount. Unfortunately, if you would like to cancel your wedding, all retainers paid will NOT be refunded. This is a difficult time for us all and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Album designs and other products. Will there be a delay?
At the moment, certain companies have been closed due to non-essential business closure. This is causing a delay in processes. I am currently still editing and designing albums, but they are being placed on hold until fabrication companies reopen. We will contact you as soon as we can proceed with ordering.
Do you have a back up plan if you get sick?
I am doing everything I can to make sure that doesn’t happen, but if the unfortunate case were to arise, I have a huge group of photographer friends, along with a few that I contract work out to. We are competitive, but also supportive, so making sure all couples have a stress free day is super important to us all. I am already set-up for this situation and have people already available to help secure a new photographer if need be.
I hope you are able to take this time to create new and special moments with family and if need be, helping each other through this difficult time.
